| On The Silencing Of Kucinich | | |

| tim-hollis | Jan 5, 11:07am | The following is a letter I sent to the editor of The Nation. It is applicable to many progressive news outlets and I hope you'll join me in setting them straight:
The Nation's stance that Kucinich is 'unelectable' is an unfortunate error. Polling at 77% seems not to have corrected this view. Even if Kucinich was a hopeless underdog (which he isn't) The Nation would be expected to endorse the candidate best representing progressive wishes, not the most viable of centrist (sure loser) candidates condoned by the oligarchic media. The Nation has been duped and cowed by the vicious elimination of our only hope. It is a cowardly surrender to the criminal forces it claims to oppose. |

I don't mind you posting it in as many SU groups as you have. But posting it in unrelated groups would cross the spam line. |

2) --Not to mention there hasn't been a whole lot of traffic of any other suit in here, lately
So, we could talk about Kucinich or Ron Paul as long as they have something to do with television... -which is, indeed, frequently.
O'Bama is the only candidate I've heard mention 'television' specifically, but that was prior to the presidential race, but they're all loving themselves some TV right now. |
